"7/25/2024 Just had an amazing cleaning by Emmy who always does a super comprehensive job. I have mentioned before that my father was a dentist and a very good one. I have never had a better experience with teeth cleaning and general dentistry practiced at JBL and Emmy is a large part of that. 2//2024 apprx I cracked a tooth and just received a miraculous repair from Dr Luciana at JBL and hour after the tooth crumbled. I received a temp immediately, no pain and get the new crown early next week. My dad was a brilliant dentist but Dr L is even better 🌹🌝🌹🌝 What a great experience I had at JBL with MJ whose cleaning of my teeth was out of this world. Based on her expert advice and encouragement, my teeth and gums are in the best health ever. Having MJ work on you addressing every single tooth with loving care and no discomfort at all is a celestial experience (if such a term can be applied to teeth cleaning). Let’s just say, no one does it better. Once again I had an incredible experience at JBL with Dr. Luciana and her amazing colleague Vivian. They are a terrific team just like they were when I cracked a tooth some weeks ago. Dr. L is a consummate expert with the gentlest touch and no one could offer better assistance, many times on her own initiative, than Vivian. As mentioned above, I speak from some experience since my father, Dr. Benjamin Deitch, was one of the best dentists in San Francisco."

"Due to a genetic condition, I had to have dental veneers done when I was 16. Due to complications, I unfortunately had to have them redone numerous times. The doctors I worked with were supposedly amongst the best in New York, but their work never suited me aesthetically and also created discomfort. I decided to try one more time to get them right, and went to Dr. Levine - who I learned truly is regarded as the very best. Going to Dr. Levine was the best decision I could have made. He brought a truly scientific, aesthetic, and compassionate approach to my case. He was the first doctor who listened to me, understood and agreed with my concerns, and could see what I was hoping to achieve. Through an incredibly thorough process, he designed the most beautiful teeth to suit my unique facial structure. I could not be more happy with the result. After a long journey of dental work, I am incredibly relieved to never have to worry about my teeth again. After Dr. Levine's work, I feel like my real self - the best version of myself. "Let me start by saying that I have terrible teeth - always have. But, you would never know it, which is why I love JBL. I have been a patient of Dr. Mac’s for over 20 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone besides him and his colleagues with my smile. The same goes for my mom and fiancé. JBL has a pretty robust team of specialists onsite so there is no waiting or going between different offices. The process is seamless and the quality is unparalleled, hence the price tag. Tbh I’d rather pay more to see the dentist once than pay less and need to go in multiple times. It probably saves you money (and hassle) in the long run because no one wants to spend more time in the dentist’s chair if they can avoid it. Everyone is friendly, including Dr. Levine, who is well known in NYC but still takes time to talk to patients and staff without grandiosity or self-importance. The front desk staff are super accommodating as well. If I ever have an emergency, they get me in quickly. Couldn’t ask for more."

"First let me say that I am beyond terrified of dentists as my experience has never been amazing BUT my experience at JBL was out of this world! The space is small but very organized almost like we were in Japan with all space being used in the most efficient of ways functionally but also visually. It’s a beautiful office! The staff was beyond welcoming, friendly & overall so comforting even before they knew how nervous I was. Add to that the #JBLafterhours program which is a much needed void in dentistry in NYC! My cleaning appointment was at 6pm on a Thursday so allowed me to finish up work & then head over. I wish more dentists thought of this! My hygienist was Jessica, I HIGHLY recommend her but also I’m sure all of the other hygienists are fantastic as well. That’s definitely the vibe I got as they came in & out by the reception area. All of the staff said hello & engaged even though I wasn’t the person they were scheduled to work with. I was offered something to drink which included a lovely white wine. I felt so pampered! As for my cleaning, no words can explain how easy & delightful this experience was. Jessica was very informative on what we were going to do before starting, during & after she explained what she saw that needed attention & gave me props for doing a good job taking care of my teeth & gums but also gave me advice on how to continue making sure they stay healthy. I’ve never been to a dentist that was so forward thinking on giving me advice & tools for keeping my teeth happy & healthy! "Poetry in Motion I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jonathan Levine (JBL Associates) for at least the past 15 years and for some reason (maybe because social media wasn’t a real thing back then) I just never thought to right a review. But my recent visit was an experience that I just felt compelled to send them a review and some accolades. Firstly, all the years I was a patient of JBL I was a New York resident. I was there for both general maintenance as well as some big procedures over the years. I think I just grew accustomed to great care because that’s kind of all I knew with them. I’ve now been living out of state and have found myself challenged to find a reliable dental practice that not only cleaned my teeth (seemingly a simple process you would think?) but also great dentists should something go horribly wrong. Well, recently that’s exactly what happened. The dreaded cracked tooth. In pain, I went to my local Dentist and they suggested quickly I need a full extraction. Trust me that’s no picnic. I called JBL and sent x-rays. Doc Levine said he could save the tooth!! “Are you kidding I said?” “No” he said. “Get your butt on a plane and get in here.” That’s exactly what I did. Their office is nothing less than ‘Poetry in motion’. Everyone executes their roles like maybe they worked on a Navy Sub or something. The place was humming. Oh, and did I fail to mention everyone’s gorgeous? Jeez!! OK, let me move on and sum this up. I got wheeled in, multiple team members doing their thing, Doc Levine overseeing everything (not that he needed to, his staff is awesome). They waved some super technical wand around my mouth and right in front of meet they created a full multi-dimensional digital image of my mouth. They double checked that against a mold of my mouth, handed that off to the on-site ceramist who got to work on making me a new crown to conceal and protect the good remaining tooth. (Most practices send that work out and you wait weeks until they get it back all the while you got that ridiculous wooden-like temp stuck in. Bang, they had me wrapped up all in 4 hours (with, I must say, a comp whitening while I waited for ceramist to finish up) and back on a 5pm plane back home with time to spare fully fixed and back to normal. What’s my point of writing this? Good luck finding this level of professionalism, excellence, superior technology and overall positive attitudes and caring for their patients. It’s not out there. Hopefully you never really need this care, but if you do, don’t even think TWICE. Happy Patient"
