JBL New York City Helps Collect Medical Supplies as COVID-19 Threatens Shortages
ACP member Dr. Jonathan Levine was recently featured on the ABC News program Nightline for his charitable spirit in this trying time amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Dr. Levine and the JBL NYC team answered the call to donate unused protective equipment to the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. The group Sonsiel, and many others throughout the country, are encouraging dental professionals, universities, veterinarians, and anyone else who might have masks, gloves or other unused equipment to donate them to medical professionals treating patients with coronavirus.
Dr. Levine stated that this was a “call to arms” and he wanted to get as many of his colleagues on board to help out during this difficult time while dental offices are closed. The need to band together to make a difference is all the more important.
