Dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of xray equipment used when regular dental or facial xrays are not sufficient. It produces three dimensional images of teeth, TMJ. airway, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bones in one single scan. More precise when planning surgeries (implants, 3rd molar extractions, supranumerary tooth....). It is possible to have a better visualization and diagnostic of TMJ, Airway, tooth and bone fractures.
